Children between the ages of 2 and 9 and their parents benefit by acquiring solid music education in a fun group-based environment that enhances parent/child involvement. The MYC program combines early childhood education principles with music theory within a rigorous curriculum that is recognized by the Chief Examiner Emeritus of the Royal Conservatory of Music as a superior introduction to music.

There are four entry levels in the MYC program with each stage designed for the development learning abilities appropriate to the age of the children in the program. The curriculum for each level is carefully geared and paced to the abilities and learning styles for that particular age.

The program lasts from three to five years, depending on the age of the child, with each year consisting 34 lessons and opportunities for solo and ensemble performances at the Studio Year-End Recital.
Upon completion of the MYC program, students are well prepared for early intermediate piano studies or the study of another instrument.
